The Day / Night Before

Get your gear organised so all you need to do in the morning is get dressed, grab your breaky and go. Have all your gear packed in a bag and your bike on or in the car. Use the Gear Checklist to make sure you have everything you will need. The night before my first tri, I think I packed and re-packed my bag 10 times just making sure everything was there!

Make sure you drink lots of water the day before a tri and have a nice healthy dinner. I usually have spaghetti bolognaise to ensure I have a good mix of carbs, protein and veggies.

And I know this is easier said than done, but try to relax and get a good night’s sleep.
